At 20/20 Plumbing & Heating, Inc., we are proud to be able to help our community. And helping our communities means developing meaningful partnerships with both companies and philanthropic organizations that share our values and commitment to service with integrity.

Most recently, we joined with nonprofit Nevada HAND, an affordable housing solutions provider, and Moen to replace new plumbing fixtures inside the facilities of Heaven Can Wait Animal Society. This nonprofit organization was founded in 2002 with the goal of eliminating the senseless, unnecessary killing of cats and dogs in Las Vegas area shelters. It provides high-volume, low-cost spay and neuter surgeries for companion animals and free-roaming cats, as well as educational programs and adoption opportunities.

Heaven Can Wait works closely with animal control officers to identify areas in the Las Vegas metro where shelter animals originate and targets these areas for free, traveling vaccination clinics, wellness checks and no-cost spay and neuter vouchers. Heaven Can Wait also sponsors Pups on Parole, in partnership with the Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Facility, to rehabilitate and train rescued dogs. Pawsitively Seniors is a partnership program with Nevada HAND that unites senior cats with residents in senior living facilities.

Among Las Vegas’s 2 million-plus residents, there is a high poverty rate and many people living on fixed incomes, contributing to the overpopulation and neglect of animals. The American Veterinary Medical Association estimates that 100,000 dogs and 150,000 cats reside in the area.

In 2020, Heaven Can Wait celebrated the happy milestone of performing more than 150,000 surgeries! Each dollar raised makes it possible for Heaven Can Wait to perform critical spay and neuter surgeries and keep unwanted dogs and cats out of shelters. We are pleased to come together with Nevada HAND and Moen to help support this worthy organization’s goal of serving and saving 100 or more dogs and cats per day.
